A limited number of media passes are available for outlets interested in covering Pensacon. Interested organizations should be prepared to present examples of their coverage of past Pensacon events or of similar events in order to be considered.
Only one application per media outlet should be submitted. Applications must be received no later than Jan. 27.
Please note the following policies:
- Please provide names and coverage roles for all of your team members.
- Organizations should select a single person responsible for picking up all passes.
- Credentials will be available at our extended pass pickup, dates and location TBA, or at Will Call at the Pensacola Bay Center during the event.
- Interview requests with convention guests, either in advance of the show or in person, must go through Julio Diaz, and are subject to the approval of the celebrities and agents. No outlet is guaranteed interview access to any guest, and no outlet is authorized to approach guests or agents directly without Pensacon approval. PLEASE NOTE: ADVANCE INTERVIEW REQUESTS FOR PUBLICATION/RELEASE BEFORE THE CON WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY TREATMENT.
- Media parking is only available if negotiated as part of a sponsorship package. For sponsorship information, please contact Julio Diaz at julio@pensacon.com.
- All media are entitled to use the Pensacon trolley system by showing their passes. This should make it easy to park anywhere downtown and travel between venues, as well as to transport equipment. Please note that all trolley seating is first come, first served.
- Media passes are intended for the use of WORKING MEDIA ONLY. If your organization is seeking passes for contests, giveaways or for the personal use of employees or others, those can be arranged via a separate sponsorship package. For sponsorship information, please contact Julio Diaz at julio@pensacon.com.
- Photography and videography of celebrity guests in the celebrity autograph areas is strictly forbidden without the express permission of Pensacon executive staff AND the guest and/or guest’s agent. Violation of this policy may result in your credentials being revoked and your outlet being barred from covering Pensacon in the future.
- No backstage access is allowed to any media outlet unless specifically arranged with Pensacon executive staff.
Please direct any questions or concerns to Julio Diaz at julio@pensacon.com. Thanks, and we look forward to working with you at Pensacon!
