Matthew De Meritt
E.T.
Matthew De Meritt is best known for his role as E.T in the blockbuster sci-fi film E.T The Extra-Terrestrial (1982). He was born without legs and used his hands to walk.
He was a pre-teen while appearing as E.T. He was put inside the E.T. suit and moved for E.T. in most of the scenes where E.T. gets into the kitchen and falls over drunk. Another person operated the arms.
